These procedures have been in place for the summer and are working well:
EFF. NOVEMBER 23rd All children ages 3 and up must wear a mask for the duration of gymnastics class. If there is a medical reason your child cannot wear their mask, please contact us so we can make special accommodations.
-If your child can tolerate a mask, please have them wear it into the building. While it is not advised during physical activity, if you would like to have your child wear their mask for the duration of the class, they may do so. Just let us know that is your preference.
Everyone should enter through the front door, DOOR A....we will notify you if we need you to pick up from a different door in the back of the building.
-School Age classes (Levels Beginner-Level 4, Tumbling and Freestyle)
-Preschool Classes
DOOR ENTRY/EXITS MAY CHANGE DEPENDING ON NECESSITY. We will let you know if you should follow a different procedure.
-Hand sanitizer will be used before entering the gym (just like we have always done).
-They will deposit their shoes, mask and water bottle at a specified location and do directly to their socially distanced spot on the red floor for warm up. Please leave all other personal belonging in the car, do not send them in the building with anything else.
-Everyone will have their temperature taken and recorded at attendance
-Teachers will be masked and sanitize their hands when spotting is necessary. If spotting is not necessary, the teacher will maintain their proper distance.
-Preschool Classes will EXIT through DOOR ????
-School Age classes will EXIT through DOOR ????
-NO Spectators are allowed in the facility. While this is a bummer, we cannot possibly have everyone's adult and/or sibling in the building, maintaining social distancing and be able to sanitize those areas. The stairs and upstairs are no longer in use.
.-Class times and structure of the class have been changed to accommodate additional/more frequent cleaning protocols. We have built in extra time between classes to clean and sanitize any necessary equipment and bathrooms. Preschool classes will only do stations rather than any obstacle course type activities to limit contact and maintain spacing.
-Hand sanitizer may also be used more frequently throughout class when changing apparatus and/or stations: For example, we are keeping kids at socially distanced stations, on floor child is using the same piece of equipment and changing skills done, rather than switching the child to a new mat or bar to change the skill. If it is necessary to change the piece of equipment the child is on, then everyone sanitizes their hands and the equipment is cleaned as well.
